Six sculptures are placed on six locations in the public space of amsterdam. The artists used building materials that are commonplace in the urban environment.
Each sculpture reflects its surroundings. The installation translates sound recordings from each location into light.
The project focuses on public space, the space for everybody. Connecting a variety of locations maximizes the diversity of the audience. Spacial Connection is a experiment researching the relationship between art and daily life.
This project is a collaboration between Studio Aldo Brinkhoff and Studio Koen Steger.
